“Great hike. Ja, my guide, gave me multiple options and I chose the hardest one, which takes you down the gorge, then along the river for c800m then back up, followed by lunch. Beautiful scenery and I loved seeing more traditional villages and homesteads on the way. The lunch is at the provider’s own guest farm, which is beautifully maintained, and the food was made of traditional and homegrown ingredients straight from the garden. It was delicious. My only ‘negative’ is that the hike was fairly short - my guide told me about 2km in total - although the length of the truly difficult uphill bit was just right. Still,…”
